Business Accelerator

Entrepreneurship is viewed as the driving force behind the 21st century economy. The Nyenrode Business Accelerator (NBA) supports starting and existing companies of Nyenrodians in the initial crucial stages of their growth process. The NBA creates an efficient and stimulating environment, allowing these young companies to blossom and succeed.
The companies in the Nyenrode Business Accelerator are independent companies. The entrepreneurs are given the freedom to do business, while the NBA offers services that they require to get started on their own.

 

Vision
Nyenrode Business Universiteit has a strong connection with entrepreneurship. Many alumni started their own company after gaining several years of work experience in business. The reasons for not starting right after graduation are a lack of financial resources and the lack of experience. Entrepreneurship occupies an important position within the curriculum at Nyenrode Business Universiteit. Many of our students consider starting a company in the long run. Because currently most of the people starting companies in the Netherlands are older than 35, we feel it wise to stimulate entrepreneurship amongst young people. Nyenrode therefore supports (former) students in setting up a company via the Nyenrode Business Accelerator.
