Nyenrode Center for Finance conducts new research across a wide array of financial topics to support research activities of the faculty, organizing seminars and events for academics and practitioners, as well as to distribute material to the community highlighting important research developments in specific areas covered by the Center.
Our focus is on a research program with four essential areas of expertise:
- Banking, Financial Regulation, and Supervision: exploring banks’ choice of business model, their internationalization strategy and the procyclical effects of financial integration in the Eurozone.
- International Financial Markets and Structured Products: investigating the importance of the securitization technology and the role of the markets for the products created.
- Managing Financial Resources in Emerging Markets.
- Mergers & Acquisitions.
Ivo Arnold is Professor of Economics at Nyenrode Business Universiteit and Vice Dean at Erasmus School of Economics. His main research interests are European monetary and financial integration and exchange rate behavior. 
Dr. Dennis Vink is an Associate Professor of Finance and Director of the Center for Finance at Nyenrode Business Universiteit.
