Nyenrode en InterCollege Business School bundelen krachten

Breukelen, 1 juli 2009; Nyenrode Business Universiteit (Masters of Science) en InterCollege Business School (Bachelor of Business Administration) zijn overeengekomen een strategische alliantie aan te gaan met als doel de kwaliteit van de bedrijfskunde opleidingen nog beter af te stemmen op de behoefte uit de markt. De focus hierbij is gericht op het stimuleren van praktijkgericht wetenschappelijk onderzoek en ondernemerschap.

Studenten van InterCollege Business School krijgen de mogelijkheid hun opleiding te vervolgen met een masterprogramma aan Nyenrode Business Universiteit. Bovendien starten beide organisaties een uitwisselingsprogramma bij de ontwikkeling van, congressen, stages en onderwijskundige innovaties voor zowel de bachelor- als masterfase.

Met deze samenwerking wordt geanticipeerd op een grote behoefte aan jonge, hoogopgeleide ondernemers in de Nederlandse samenleving. De opleiding van InterCollege Business School leidt op tot ‘all round’ bedrijfskundigen. Studenten maken kennis met alle facetten van de bedrijfsvoering en leren denken in de samenhang van verschillende bedrijfskundige deelgebieden. Met een vervolgprogramma aan de Nyenrode Business Universiteit, wordt deze lijn geprolongeerd en hebben studenten met academisch talent de mogelijkheid zich ook op academisch niveau te ontwikkelen tot praktijkgerichte, ondernemende professionals. In de samenwerking kan de student zich vakinhoudelijk nader specialiseren en wordt  coaching als logisch verlengstuk aangewend voor verdere persoonlijke groei.

InterCollege en Nyenrode gaan de bovengenoemde samenwerking aan omdat beide instituten persoonlijke ontwikkeling centraal stellen in hun onderwijsprogramma’s. Daarnaast streven zowel business school als business universiteit naar het opleiden van goed onderlegde, praktijkgerichte en ondernemende professionals die een waardevolle bijdrage kunnen leveren aan het Nederlandse en buitenlandse bedrijfsleven.

Nyenrode Business Universiteit (Masters of Science) and InterCollege Business School (Bachelor of Business Administration) have agreed upon a strategic alliance with the aim of making the quality of the courses in business administration match market requirements even better. The focus in this venture lies on stimulating practically oriented academic research and entrepreneurship.

Students of the InterCollege Business School will be given the opportunity to follow up their education with a Master’s program at Nyenrode Business Universiteit. Furthermore, the two organizations will start an exchange program to develop congresses, internships and educational innovations for both the Bachelor phase and the Master phase.

This joint venture responds in advance to an anticipated great demand in Dutch society for young, well educated entrepreneurs. Education at the InterCollege Business School is geared to producing good, ‘all round’ business administrators. Students become familiar with every facet of running a business and learn to think in terms of the correspondence between the various elements of business administration. Through a follow-up program at Nyenrode Business Universiteit, students with academic talent also have the opportunity to develop themselves further at university level to become practically oriented, enterprising professionals. The partnership allows the student to further specialize in subject matter, and coaching is given as a logical extension for continued personal growth.

InterCollege and Nyenrode are entering into the aforementioned partnership because personal development holds a central place in the educational programs of both institutes. In addition, both the business school and the business university strive to turn out well-grounded, practically oriented and enterprising professionals who can make a valuable contribution to business in the Netherlands and abroad.
