Henk Langendijk is Professor at and Chairman of the Financial Accounting & Reporting department at Nyenrode School of Accountancy & Controlling.
He is a member of the Permanent Accountancy Working Group and editor of both Maandblad Accountancy and Accountant-Adiviseur. His research focuses primarily on earnings-management, quality of external reporting, reporting and corporate governance, creative accounting and fraudulent reporting.
Henk obtained his master’s in Business Economics at the University of Amsterdam. In 1994 he went on to obtain his doctorate at Leiden University with a dissertation on ‘The market for legal accountants audit in the Netherlands. Some quantitative and qualitative aspects’.
