Power of the masses
In this Web 2.0 era, individual consumers are not just receivers of information they are also suppliers. YouTube, Flickr, Facebook, Wikipedia and Twitter are just some examples. Another example is the Dutch police website: www.politieonderzoeken.nl, where the public are encouraged to help solve serious crimes. New technologies of this kind contribute to the digital interaction between individuals and groups.
