Borrowing, renewing, requesting books

Borrowing books
You can borrow books upon proof of your library card*. The maximum number of books to borrow is 5. The loan period is 4 weeks. Books can be returned at the information desk in the Library or by post (at your own risk). Outside opening hours books can be returned in the mailbox at the entrance of the Library building.
You will receive a notice by e-mail or mail when the due date of a book has expired. After the expiration date, an overdue fine will be charged (see the tariffs on this website). Non-received or delayed notification does not entitle you to a dispensation of fines.
*Reference books, journals, theses, annual reports and videos can only be viewed in the library. Nyenrode theses are not accessible.

Renewing the loan period
Renewal of the loan period is possible unless a book is requested by another person. You can renew the loan period:

  • In the library catalog, before expiration of the due date. See also the manual of the library catalog.
  • By telephone: 0346-291310
  • By e-mail: library@nyenrode.nl

Requesting books
